• At-Large Violations: Neighbor not confining his dog? You may be able to report an at-large violation.
• Lost, Stray, or Abandoned Animals: If you believe a dog or cat is lost, stray, or abandoned, find out how to help the animal get back home or into a new home. If you have information on the abandonment, you can also report animal cruelty.
• When Dogs Harm Livestock: If a neighbor’s dog harms or kills chickens or other animals on your property, Alabama law holds the owner responsible for damages.
